We like to highlight some of the amazing stories that we get to take part in because we’re proud of our patients and of the work that we do. Here’s the story of a recent patient, Annalissa.
Annalissa struggled with drug addiction for 15 years, which had caused severe tooth decay.
“It made me refrain from any kind of social interaction, even with my family. I was extremely unhappy with the girl I saw in the mirror,” says Annalissa. “Everyday I was reminded of the person I used to be and the mistakes I made.”
Once Annalissa had been clean and sober for a month, she came to visit us.
“When I first met with Dr. Larry, he took the time to listen to my story and never once judged me. From my initial consultation, I experienced the highest level of professionalism,” Annalissa remembers. “All the nurses were so kind and understanding with me. They truly care for their patients and for their well-being in general.”
Prior to the surgery, we discovered Annalissa had an abnormal EKG report.
“They postponed my All-on-4® procedure and referred me to a cardiologist,” says Annalissa. “It took a year after that for me to be in a healthy state to undergo the surgery but it was well worth the wait.”
After the All-on-4® treatment, Annalissa let us know how the surgery had impacted her life.
“I can honestly say it gave me the opportunity to start my life over again. My self-esteem has shot through the roof. I love the girl I see in the mirror. I feel beautiful and whole again. I love going on my daily walks and smiling and saying hello to passersby. I haven’t felt this good and positive in a very very long time. I will be forever grateful,” says Annalissa.
