With the All-on-4® treatment concept, Pasadena patients can get a permanent, screw-retained, same-day placement for their entire upper and / or lower set of teeth.

The All-on-4® treatment concept provides patients with immediate results. It offers a solution even for patients who lack bone in the area of their missing teeth. There’s also a cost savings with the All-on-4® treatment concept; Pasadena patients benefit from a significantly less expensive surgery because fewer dental implant tooth roots are necessary.

Patients can rely on Lytle, Tate and Stamper for their procedure. We are an established practice offering a variety of oral and maxillofacial surgeries, including the All-on-4® treatment concept. Glendale, Pasadena, and La Canada patients choose us for our advanced technology and training; our supportive care; and the healthy, attractive results we offer.

Comparing Implant Options

Typical dental implants utilize many substitute tooth roots to hold individual replacement teeth in place. As a result, patients need to have enough bone in their jaw in order to create a strong connection between the roots and the new teeth.

Patients may require bone grafts and long integration periods before they can realize the full benefits of their procedure. They also will need multiple appointments to set the implants and to cap the new tooth roots before they have a complete set of new teeth.

The All-on-4® treatment concept works differently. Pasadena patients require only four-to-five implants in the jaw to replace an entire set of upper or lower teeth. Instead of attaching a single tooth, these four implants support a fixed prosthesis with 12-to-14 teeth. Because of the placement of the implants, even patients with significant bone loss in their jaw can have the procedure without the delays or additional cost of bone grafts.

What to Expect with an All-on-4® Treatment Concept

Typically, the process starts with a consultation with a restorative dentist. He / she will review your dental arch, teeth, jaw, and smile. Then, the dentist will work with Lytle, Tate and Stamper’s surgeons to create a plan for your All-on-4® treatment concept.

On the day of your procedure, our surgeon will remove your existing teeth and place the dental implants. The surgery will last about an hour and a half, and you can have either I.V. sedation or local anesthesia depending on your medical needs and preferences. Our surgeons can also perform the procedure in an outpatient center for your comfort.

Later in the day after your surgery, the restorative dentist will attach new, transitional teeth. These teeth will have a strong and stable connection to your dental implants, but their main purpose is to give you normal, healthy function while your implants become stronger and stronger.

After about four months, your dentist will replace the transitional teeth with permanent hybrid teeth. These teeth look and feel real, and they are designed to last you a last for years and years.
