For decades, Dr. Elgan P. Stamper has been one of the Pasadena area’s most trusted names in oral and maxillofacial surgery. Though he is now retired from active patient care, Dr. Stamper remains an integral part of our history here at Foothill Center for Dental Implants and Oral Surgery.
As a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, Dr. Stamper has always adhered to the highest standards of patient comfort, safety, and care. He has extensive experience in implant surgical procedures and has given countless patients a second chance at a full smile.
Committed to the profession, Dr. Stamper spent much of his career serving in leadership positions, including roles as Past President of both the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the California Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. A former Board Examiner for the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Dr. Stamper also contributed his time and experience to advancing the specialty through board certification.
Upon completing his undergraduate studies at UCLA, he attended the University of Southern California School of Dentistry. Dr. Stamper then pursued his postgraduate residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Los Angeles County+USC Medical Center. He is also a former Assistant Professor at the University of Southern California School of Dentistry.
After more than 92 combined years in practice, Drs. Lytle, Tate, and Stamper have retired and decided to transition their Pasadena practice to Dr. Christopher Chan. He is proud to continue the tradition of clinical excellence that LTS was known for.
